I have been a subscriber to PC Magazine since it first came out.
I have a free subscription now.
They are giving it away because the can't sell it anymore and they can't sell advertisement space. Look at it. There are less than 100 pages in the current issue. They used to have 300 pages or more.
I am not sure if I will renew again, not even for free.
The problem is that they are changing PC Mag from an indepth, technical PC technology magazine to a consumer electronics magazine. It is a matter of economics. They are having problems surviving as a PC technical magazine.
Look at the cover of the May 22 issue. "Annual Car Tech Specil". Yes, they are also covering new printers. But they are rapidly drifting to other things.
