I just order it and it is here. I am hoping that my board will be a good board with the I/O Shield. The other accessories are not that great any how.
The last refurbed board I bought had everything in it.

Update: I got my board and it was like new with no sign of anyone ever touches it. However, it did not come with the I/O shield.

Pretty good deal. I am scared away from newegg's refurbs, though. I ordered one a couple years back and it ended up DOA (of course it was past the RMA period because I had to wait for other parts to come in). It was my fault that I waited, but the experience made me hesitant of newegg refurbed MBs.

I'm not thread crapping, just reminding everyone to check that board out ASAP. If you get a good board, you just saved like 20-30 bucks!

Newegg Refurbs has been getting bad to worst.. I bought a pc3200 ddr memory from them refurbs, and it came with one of the contact pin missing.. I don't think they check the parts before they ship it.

I end up return it for refund..

I would pay the extra $20-$30 to get a new one..

Ditto on that. I have had bad results on Newegg refurbs for hard drives, mobos and cases.
Cases are particularily bad on return shipping. Good results on refurb graphics cards. I would also pay the extra $20-$30 to get a new mobo.

2 years ago I ordered an ASUS P4P800 Deluxe and some GEIL memory both refurb from Newegg. The motherboard came with nothing, but I had extra parts so that was no big deal. I'm actually still using the motherboard and have had no problems with it (it's overclocking great by the way). The memory on the other hand gave me a ton of errors in MemTest. Unfortunately, I was a novice when I ordered it and didn't realize this until after the return period was over. So, I saved $30, but I replaced the memory in a year because my computer kept locking up. I guess it's hit and miss with the refurbs. Just make sure you test it out before the return period's over.

I am hoping for my luck again this time. I would say I should have gotten a new one but worse comes to worst, I lose $10 sending it back. I got 14 days.

ok guys,
I just got my board today and I have not yet test it. Already it's missing the I/O shield plate. I'll test it out tomorrow morning.

I just ordered the new one, along with an AMD 3700+ san diego core, and an Aspire 520w PSU. I wanted this board so I could upgrade my P4 2.8 to the much faster 3700+, but keep my kickass 6800 GT vid card. This board looks really good, as it has SATA 2, 1ghz FSB, and both vid slots! This will let me use my 6800GT now, and still upgrade to a PCI-e 7800GT (or GTX) later. Very, very cool.

I bought this board new from NewEgg on Friday evening and recieved it today. I have yet to get my Opteron 144, so I cant try it out yet. Also, I've had bad luck with NewEgg mobo refurbs, so just dish out a few extra dollars and get a new one.

The bios options are terrible for oc'ing. CPU Voltage is limited to 1.45v for most processors, memory voltage is either "auto" or "high" and the bios won't let you oc past 274. I might sell my Asrock and get an Nforce4 board instead.

These boards are great for overclocking, though they are not the easiest ive ever used. To get the best overclocks they take some time and modding. heres a good place to start. I havent done the vcore mod yet, but Ive taken my board well over 300 without problem with the ocwb1 bios.

Anyone running an AGP and PCIE card able to answer a question for me? I'm wondering if you're playing video on one monitor and if you drag it to the other monitor how well your computer handles the shift between AGP to PCIE.

Just wondering what you guys think of this vs the MSI Neo2-FIR? (I have that already but just got in on the X2 3800+ deal), better overclocker? any reason to throw down the $$? both have firewire/sata/usb2/dual ata. The msi has more pci slots while this has a pci e too

I just picked up one of the Refurbished 939Dual-SATA2 boards to replace the dumpy ABIT AN8-Ultra. Wow, what a great price! The board works fine too. I'm guessing that a lot of folk may have problems booting the first time. I couldn't get the board up and running until after I pulled out all the PCI cards and set the primary display to PCIe.

Does anybody have a floppy image for the SATA RAID drivers? I'd like to stripe by drives, but ASROCK doesn't have the windows xp raid floppy image.
