I picked the last one in the OD near my house. They gave the ATA card without any hassles. What is the advantage of using tha ATA card. I have an MSI K7t266 board + AMD xp2000. Shoud i install the free ATA card?

Don't go off the website... it said my local OD was sold out, but when I went there today they had 3 in stock.

Add the $20 off $75 coupon into your cart and then add the HD, print it out and take it to your local Office Depot and they will honor the $20 off coupon.

Just got back from mine and gave me the $20 off coupon... I had to mention the Free ATA card, but they found it and gave it to me no problem.

No. The D740X doesn't transfer over 100 mb/s anyway.

i just ordered my drive. used the online coupon for in store pickup with free ata card.

i have an abit it7 with 6 IDE slots - for a total for 8 ATA133 + 4 ATA 100 slots.

i dont really need the ata card and plan to sell the card on fleabay to make $25+ more making this a real sweet deal!!! ps: anyone interested in buying the card pm me

Have been wanting a new drive and an ata pci card as i already have 2hds, a dvd and cdr on mb. This deal is soooo sweet. Scored it tonight. My local OD couldnt believe the 59.99 ata card wasn't a MIR-apparently I was the first person this week to come in on this deal.

The easiest way to find them is to use the Store Locator in the footer of Office Depot's website, this will give you all the stores near you. Then use those zipcodes to plug back into their page to check for inventory. Or you could get the list of stores near you with uswestdex.com or superpages.com as well...

Their in store pick up option works great, remember to hit them up for the free ATA card while at the store though since that was an in-store offer. Stacking deals rules!

Some Office Depot stores are changing people sales tax on the FREE ATA card, but if card is free meaning it being sold for $0.00, how can you add sales tax to $0.00. :disgust:
