For Staples coupons do a search on Google.com key word "Staples coupons"

So far poeple who own the CenDyne 32x drive have identified the rebadged mfgs as Lite-on, verbatim (Rebadged Lite-ons), AOpen (reads at 48x) and a new one OptoRite.

To identify which rebadged drive is in the Cendyne box look at the serials # on the top right label at the back of the box and the model # if there is one.

Lite-on 32x mfg drive have 12 digits, no letters - Sample (123456789012), Model #LTR-32123S or the newer mfg (overclockable) #LTR-32123W.
Verbatim 32x mfg drive have (rebadged Lite-on drives) 12 digits, no letters - Sample (123456789012), Model #VBT321240A
AOpen 32x drives have 23 digits mostly numbers with three letters near the end -Sample (123D1234567890123JED1), Model #CRW3248 or #32x12x48 CR-RW

staples is good with rebates arent they? I would rather spend a few extra $ and get the rebate back in a week or so than get it from office max and get the rebate 6 months later. How long does it usually take staples to do rebates?

Is there going to be a B&M-useable coupon then? I really don't want to buy this thing online 'cause you don't know which one (liteon/aopen/etc.) you'll be getting...

also, on staples rebates where it says under the requirements,
"register online or complete claim form", what does this mean?

Is this just fill out the rebate form? Do i need to do something online for them?

Does anyone know -- from experience with Staples -- whether one can take advantage of this rebate if one purchased a Cendyne 32x drive with a rebate from Staples on the last go-round?

MysticMan1 appears to have lots of friends here, so I don't want to thread crap. But one has to ask where is the $19.99 coming from? Yes, I can add! I don't think it's fair to state $19.99 in the title and then say "$10.01 item (hopefully a free after rebate item)." If you're taking into account that you're going to get something else free after rebate ok, otherwise, it's misleading. It's my understanding that if someone states AR, it's usually for that particular time and not some other item you have to seek out. That's my 2 cents. Nonetheless, good deal.

Did you read the part that said "There will be more information went I get it"??? It does take a lots imagination to think that during Staples 4th of July week sale that they would have a few free after rebate items available. I do know of one FAR item, but I'm waiting for more info before I post it. Remenber the sale dosen't start until next SUNDAY

BTY : There's nothing wrong with thread craping, regular bowel movements are very healthy.

IMO, it's not misleading at all.
The price of the CD-RW itself is going to be $19.99 AR.
The price of whatever else you buy will be the price of whatever else you buy.

If you can't find free after rebate deals, $10.01 isn't going to make or break you, esp. with a great deal on a burner
And with Staples huge selection of goods, surely you can find something useful.

BTW, the rebate for the last Cendyne deal came in extremely quick, under a month for sure

It's probably that new one call OptoRite. If the model number is "CW3201" then that's what it is. You can find more info on it in my OfficeMax/CenDyne 32x thread. This dual CenDyne threads thing could get very confusing.
