ordered mine online sunday night... got a mesg. monday morning saying its being processed... hope it comes through and turns out being a good one!!

man i ordered mine at 430am sunday morning...and it still hasn't shown up yet online....had to call mine in...can't believe some of you guys decided to wait that night. With this sale being known this early and the deals this hot, you know some guys are already doing the buy now rebuy later deal...got to be on the ball ladies and gents...

Just a reminder.. Always be sure to make copies of your rebate submission info. I have all my stuff scanned, so all I would need to do if the rebate center lost my info is fax them or email them a copy of my stuff to prove that I had a UPC code.

Anyone know what's up with Staples web site? It still says my order information is invalid. I would assume that a company as big as Staples would have a better IT department than to let their servers be down for such a long time. Or is it for just me the web site is screwed up?

I got the same error (order no. and zip code do not match), I called and the csr could tell what error I got and said they're fixing that problem.

I'm also getting the error message too, it seems as if my order got cancelled. This is the first time i ever ordered anything from staples.com, did they cancel my order? Or are they just backed up? If it was cancelled, what would it say?

Just checked about 0730 EDT and the CD-RW was back in stock for me for online order (zip 23829). Ordered it with the standard paperclips to use $20 off $100.

THAT order now shows up on the Staples order info site, but the ones I placed Sunday and Monday evening STILL will not pull up, although the CSR I chatted with online last night confirms they are valid and will be delivered.

Looks like they may have that server up and working now, but at least so far the orders that came in BEFORE it was back online still don't show up.

For confirmation, either do the online chat from the website or call them. Sucks, but WTH, we are saving a bundle so can put up with a little inconvenience!

yeah, i did two orders. One order is showing up, and the other is not (yet). Anyone know if i will get the rebates with the package, or are they downloadable online? I guess I should look around . Also, where is that online CSR chat? I looked for a good 20 minutes and I couldnt find it, you would think it would be under the contact us page

Check it in Staples rebate center. You can submit it online or print it out to mail

I too could not find the online CSR chat!!! I must've looked for at least 20 minutes too. My order is showing in my order history...but does not show up under order status??? I'm soooooooooo confused!!

Same here, order on 5/19 4 am eastern and my order still doesn't show up

Seem all of my orders can be checked online status now.

So far one out of my 4 packages the site said should arrived today came.
and the CDRW was first said to be 4 days, actually has a delivery date of 5/21 ! COOL!

From the Staples web site (TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK! ADDITIONAL STOCK TO ARRIVE APPROXIMATELY 5/23/2002), but you can put the drive in your cart without getting a OUT OF STOCK warning in my area code.

I did the ferengi thing and it worked great.............. I bought the 32x cendyne/lite-on CDRW on Friday the 17th with the 20 off 100 coupon (code only) and returned it on Sunday for an even exchange so I could get a properly dated receipt. Now I am sending in for the rebate.

For the live customer support, simply enter your order number and zip, when you submit it and it comes back with the error, right on top of the error should be the word help?. To the right of that is the link in green. It says 'Live customer support'.

i should be gettin my drive today. does anybody know if there is any more stock of the Lite-On drives in the Los Angeles area? if i get a aopen drive i want to exchange it. or is this aopen drive any good?

Ordered on Sunday morning, got my drive today, still waiting for the paper clips . I got a Lite-On, and this was shipped from Pennsylvania (Ingram-Micro? or does Staples have their own warehouse?).

Recieved my drive just now. Got a 12 digit serial and the model is LTR-32123S, looks like a Lite-on. So for rebate submission I would use the paper that says, "This is not an invoice" right?
