(Go back to older firmware versions.

Overclock your recorder.

Turn rebagged Lite-On drives into real Lite-On drives.

Turn other rebagged drives into the real brand, should work in all cases as long as the drive have a mediatek chipset. )

I have real Lilt-on so I might not need Mtkflash.exe.

Also my 24X Taiyoyuden media can only burn @ max 16X. Anyone have same problem? (I flash mine with lastes FW from Liteon XSOX).

Do i cut all the three and send???

Also I completed the rebate form online and it asked for ORIGINAL Receipt... Do i need to send the original or a photocopy will do??? That is the first time where I find they ask for orginal receipt... original UPC yes... but original receipt !!!! why??

You can just send them your package slip, the one that came with the drive. Should be enough. But still don't know about the UPC codes - which one do they want?

I just checked my on line rebate status and it has been approved.... I sent in the UPC which is the one that is not the part # and not the serial number. Or in other words, the one on the back bottom right.

Just got it listed last night on staplesrebates.com sent on 5/29, listed received on 6/18 so wait for now, they very slow.

I mailed the Cendyne rebate and the APC Battery Backup rebate on the same day - May 24th.
They stated receiving the APC paperwork on May 30th, but the Cendyne paperwork wasn't
received until June 10th. I received the check for the APC on June 15th. I think that was a
record for the fastest turn-around on a rebate for me. Only 22days!!!!! Now if the Cendyne
will only get here.

i sent in my rebate on 6/6/02 and they still haven't receeived it. i did however got back my return receipt i paid for when i sent it out. apparently my rebate got re-routed to miami, fl. what's strange is why it got re-routed there and why it took so long. my return receipt has a sticker with the miami address on it covering my original address. i called the rebate center and was told to just fax a copy of my documents in. i hope they're not just trying to send rebates there to say it got lost in the mail. :|
