Looks like some people at Slick Deals are getting shipping confirmation notices, it seems the ordered w/ second day air, and they also ordered from the second link posted today. Now I know this is a gamble, and wouldn't be pissed if it fell through, but I will be angry if people that ordered a full 12 hours after me get one and I don't.

one guy on the dell forums says his gf ordered with free ship. no word on if it was the "first link" or the second.

some folks over @ slick deals are beginning to call DELL and from what they are saying, all the orders are being canceled. yet no one has recieved a cancelation email..... hmmm fishy....

Just spent 20 minutes reading in the Dell forum... what a bunch of whiners. I ordered one as well. I won't get it, I will not die, I will not be depressed. I won't even file a class-action so i can get $.15. I have a life to live.

Yah I cant believe these guys get so upset. They actually insist that Dell does it on purpose to generate traffic. Hello? Why would they put a price they cant honor and get 10,000 orders then cancel them all? How does this improve their bottom line? It doesnt. I for one will not complain to dell as they have given me plenty of great deals in the past. Price mistakes happen and they have clearly and repeatedly stated that they are well within their rights to cancel such orders. Jeez people need to stop whining and stop trying to screw Dell over.

Highly doubtful. I ordered only one, without a coupon, next day air, & within a minute of this being posted and just got a cancellation notice.

Most of us realized this was a serious price mistake, and were hoping that our order would get through. However, i have a problem with poor business practices such as false advertising, bad customer service, etc. I think to many of us have had multiple bad experiences, often with large companies, and we can add this to the list. While this may have been a mistake, it's suspect due to Dell's reputation for price mistakes. Many of us looked at this "deal" and thought, "well, the 4600 deal went through....". Considering a VERY similar price mistake occured with the X5 last year in Canada (also from the Dell forum), it is interesting how history repeats itself. I guess each one of us has to decide for ourselves if this was an honest mistake or if there is something shady going on.

Agreed. But on a simular note, I am tired of people whining about people whining.
Everyone needs to get over themselves. I knew going into this that I probably wouldn't get it but so what. I wasted 5 minutes of my time, I do that every 6 minutes in OT.

Mine should be here shortly. I guess I'll get two. I ordered one in SB when it was first listed and then again in home when it was re listed.
I only received one acknowledgment though.
Maybe they'll feel sorry for me since I spent $2400 with them in the last 2 weeks.

I am not upset or anything about not getting one fro dell.

About Dell do these price mistake error each to get traffic we can't not rule this out because traffic means alot to a e-commerce site. They depend it on adversitment but I don't think there is any people will put ads on Dell. Who knows what they will use the site traffic for.
