I still have my DVD version and I noticed the BR version tin can is shorter. What the hell? I haven't opened it yet, but I love the tin, it's sooo nice.

Unfortunately a day or so late.

Already have the standard DVD of BoB but made an impulsive late night purchase when I saw a Hot Deals Quick Picks @ $35.62. Was considering cancelling order especially since it showed a delay in ship time but it's now been shipped and the new price makes me feel a bit better about the buy. Just may have to donate the standard DVD to the local USO or ask my nephew in Iraq if he wants it along with some other movies I'm sending.

I must of just missed this, I ordered it for $43 and got it last Monday. Still totally worth the price. I've seen it before and couldn't pass it up for that price on Bluray. I've watch the first two so far and will probably watch a few more later today, looks and sounds excellent!

I finished watching it. It had some boring parts and it had some nice mind blowing combat/war parts. I woud say 6 parts out of 10 are worth watching. A little underwelmed from all the hype. Overall, not much combat concidering you have a 10 part movie, but what is there is absolutely some of the best war action you'll see.

Update: This deal was up for about a week. You snooze, you lose.

If only my parents had an HDTV and a Blu-ray player. I would have picked it up to give to my dad at a later date as a gift.
