DEAD: BF3 Standard Edition $0.99 on Origin site

Not sure if this is even a hot deal at $0.99, but I just saw it this morning. I got it for free and have still not played it.

The Origin platform seems to be begging for people to use it. I already had BF3 :/ but... keep in mind, you will become quite frustrated when you compete against people that have all the "packs" and destroy you with fully upgraded weapons.

What do you mean by fully upgraded weapons?

There are weapon unlocks you get with kills but they are of little value and the base weapons you start out with are some of the best in the game. You may get chewed up by "veterans" of the game but it wont be because of their weapons, it will be their experience and knowledge of the maps that do you in.

Vehicle unlocks on the other hand, will give them an advantage over you (vehicle vs vehicle) until you get those ranked up.
