Outpost.com (also Fry's right?) has this card for $249.99 out the door. Would you be able to PM this to Best Buy to save another $20?
Of course there are no Fry's in the state of Florida (where I am), so not sure if this would work for me, but it may for some other people.

I think I need some help with Rivatuner. I installed the card using the NVidia 66.93 drivers. I went thru the procedures to put checks by the hardware items in Riva, and though I enabled everything, but my benchmark scores are about the same as before.
When I load up RivaTuner, it says 12x1,5, but when I hit customize and look at the NVStrap Driver tab, the Graphics Processor Configuration is listed as "custom (16x1,6vp). But again, my 3DMark scores are almost identical as before I did the RivaTuner mods. Is there some way my changes are not taking affect? Any ideas?
Thanks!
Aaron
im having similar problems you are turning the card into a full 16 pipeline card with the exception that my card came at a default 12x1,6vp without me doing anything to it whatsoever. any one know the reasoning for this?
i also had this problem and on another card. seems these cards won't unlock. hopefully someone has an answer

It actually does work (decoding at least), but it's not up to full speed and never will be. The current state of decoding assist is pretty disappointing. I only got a 10% improvement over software decoding on my Athlon 64 and 6800GT system using the updated drivers.Originally posted by: gotsmack
Hi-def WMV and (I think) Mpeg-4 hardware assist on the videocard doesn't work. Shouldn't be a problem since those features didn't exist on nvidia cards prior to the 6X00 series

What's the power consumption like on these cards? WIll I have trouble with this in a SFF system (ideq) with a 220W PSU?
Not likely, in my opinion. Best Buy is already offering a good deal on this. I doubt they would go any lower, even to match a competitor.Originally posted by: yojoe
Assuming the PM to Fry's works for $249.99, the $105 rebates works after PM, and $20 off $200 Bestbuy coupon works.
$249.99 + $55 -$20 = $284.99 - $105 MIR = 179.99
How likely will this work out?
