I bought a cyberpower pc 4 years ago and it took over a month to ship. I swore I'd never buy from these guys again. But for a $40 (yes it's $40 now) I said why not. I heard of others posting rediculous wait times so I didnt have high expectations on a quick delivery. I ordered on 11/08/02 and it arrived via Fedex Saver on 11/11/02. I only ordered the standard $40 case with window for $10 more and was pleasantly surprised that my case is Aluminum not steel and they either forgot or just threw in the 420 Watt PS. Anyhow for $50 plus shipping this is a great deal. You might wanna try your luck. I live on the east coast, so I dont know if they figured shipping is cheaper by shipping the Aluminum case versus the Steel. Case looks great.

here, get a $0.99 + $6 refurb. USP head or find the right one in pricewatch.com for about $7 + shipping.
carefully follow and check the pin layout of your board firs.

If you have a Micro-Center near you, they sell the 2 port USB headers for $6.00 - $8.00. The Belkin headers run $12.99 and up for the same device. The Micro-Center version falls under some generic brands, but they do work well.

Isn't it just a standard large window like those on
Newegg's version? Except, I forget if it has fan/hole.

I ended up buying one of these from Newegg, the aluminum version, and I was disappointed... for some reason I'd assumed that the aluminum version's metal would be thicker than the steel, like on some older cases I've had, but unfortunately not. The aluminum is too thin IMHO, especially considering that it costs more yet isn't even anodized.

I remember the good ole days when a sub-$150 case was strong enough to stand on, jump up and down... these days I wonder if most cases are even strong enough to fill all the bays. Heh, must be the ongoing wars, a shortage of metal or something.

PoonDaddy007, the window is just like the link posted by "mindless1". Mine has the fan hole and a fan attached to that hole. You know what else?? It came with Turbolink 420 watt power supply eventhough I didn't order it!!! Sweeeet. Dang, just remember I just ordered the Allied TruePower 450 from Newegg for this case. Oh well.

I ordered mine on Jan 10th(Friday), and received it on Jan 16th(Thursday). I used the url originally provided by Richardito (http://www.buyxtremegear.com/chiefsxcaswi.html ), then I selected the window upgrade option for $10 and check out. I read that some people even got the aluminum case and ps when they only ordered the steel case without ps!!! Get it before they wise up. Realize that you might not be that lucky, but I am very happy with this purchase. My SX830 only had a lowly Antec 300W ps, no window, no front usb ports, and I paid $85 for it.

I decided to try my luck and ordered one of these on 1/17/03 (regular black case with window option - $40 Case + $ 10 Window + $17 Shipping); just received the case throught Fedex. Paid $67 Shipped (no power supply).

I'll post if I received what I ordered once it arrives. Wife would not let me get the
grey Antec at Fry's, but was OK with the blue. Go figure. I let her make the color

wtf, i was going to order 2 cases, told me shipping was $53. so i thought i really only need one, it would lower the shipping cost. $35 case, $53 to ship it???? shipping didnt change, and i can only select 3-day select shipping as lowest shipping.

It is the same height as the SX830 which is about 21.5". I still love my SX830, but I need the 4 external 5 1/4" bays so I can put in the baybus, the burner, the dvd, and in the future something similar to the Audigy's front panel.

I just got my case today =)

I ordered it ... plain/silver without a window... $35 with $17 shipping...
It has 2 fans.. one on the door and one in the back. The funny thing is, like with other people I guess, I ordered without a power supply and it came with one anyway. 420w one too, it doesnt look too bad even. Always nice to have a free backup =)

so I am very happy, $52 for this awesome case, shipped =)

doh- i ordered a sound light but they did not send :| they charded 4 it though

oh and they sent the PS even though i didn't order it... but i already got the nice truepower 430 so i guess it'll make a nice spare since they probably won't want it back. sweet blue case- i can see why this model is so popular.

edit- Tried calling all day starting 9am EST... finally got someone around 12:30 noon. If anyone knows the hours these guys go at that would be sweet. Also, the 888 number on this thread helped out too since i didn't see it on their site.

They said they forgot to send my light... well anyway they said they would send it. I mentioned the PS and they told me they didn't want it back. That might make it worth it to get the E-poxy glue and fix the broken door hinge, since I don't want to send the whole honking case back to get replaced. (i didn't get an aluminum one so its hefty even without parts)

Oh- and my window was full size with a fan. no LED fan but I did get a free PS...
