I just got this email:

"Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for your recent order with our company for the EVGA896P31262AR video card.

We sincerely regret to inform you that we will be unable to supply you with this card at the current time. We have oversold our available inventory and unfortunately EVGA is out of stock on this piece. It is an end of life product for them.

Due to an error on the manufacturer and distribution level the product sold at an unanticipated rate. We have attempted for the past few days to source the product but were not successful. We have therefore canceled your order, and if there were any charges, we have refunded your credit card account.

We hope to continue to be your source for electronics and computer needs as we have been faithfully over the past many years.

I got the same email as well about cancelletion on EVGA896P31262AR part#.

I've still go an order in for the EVGA896P31264AR part which is the SSC edition which was about $50 - $60 more. Crossing my fingers that it won't be cancelleed (most people were not ordering that one).

I think you guys deserve some remuneration since you passed on getting the deal at thenerds because you were told they had it in stock, at least my friend who got the same stupid email, he called them after placing the order and he was told they still had "plenty".

Update: I replied to the cancellation notice and asked if they would expedite the fullfillment (or cancellation) of my order for the EVGA896P31264AR part# and a few mintues later I got an email saying that my card has been charged and it will be shipped promptly. Not too bad of a deal at around $250 less about $48 in Live Casback.

Still no cancellation email from them as of yet. My order was actually processed within an hour of purchase and have been waiting for tracking ever since. Hopefully I will get a reply from my email stating it has been canceled or what is going on with the orders that were processed that day.

Just for your info guys my friend told them he wanted to communicate with their legal department and they sent him a $25 store credit...not sure what he is going to do now but just so you know.
