Watch out, this was for last week! The rebate form lists valid dates for the list of products, and this surge protector was last week's deal. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

Your're wrong! . There are two Belkin surge protectors with rebates, one is a 6-Outlet (part# F5CO5O) for $5, with a rebate period of 6-9 to 6-15 the other one 8-Outlet (part# #F5C595-TEL) for $10, has a rebate period of 6-23 to 6-29.

How can you tell if you buy it from B&M?

The model number for the overclockable LiteOns 32x drive has a W at the end (LTR-32123W) the non overclockable drive has a S at the end (LTR-32123S). this information should be on the outside of the box. Just write down the model numbers give it to the salesmen and him you want the W model if they have one or the S model if they don't, your thrid chose would be the Mitsumi (Model #CR-480ATE) or the AOpen (Model #CRW3248).

You can still order one on-line using the $25 off $100 coupon and when it's delivered chose the one you like and return the one you don't want to the store.

Wjsulliv you got an Aopen. They are probably more durable than the Liteon but don't work as well with CloneCD.

I don't have a CC so I can't. I've sworn off CCs until I absolutely have to have one or until after college [going to be a freshman in the fall]. I figure that college loans are going to have me way up debt creek, no reason to have another way to get further downstream

so i paid $75 AR and i'll get the $40 rebate in a couple months, which'll bring me down to $35 for the cdrw, and the 3 NICs

i got what i believe is a lite-on, it's 12 digit serial, but i don't know if it's verbatim or lite-on, cuz i couldn't find the part number on the box, so it'll have to wait until i can plug it in. this was at the office max on Saratoga in San Jose, CA, and the guy said i got the last 12-digit, but that there were a lot more in the back that started with letters. these might be the mitsumi ones, so if you wanted one, check at the OM on saratoga in san jose

Just bought one for myself too. It's a Lite-On, thank God! Serial on box is the 12 digit number. They also took the $15 staples coupon, so I including Tax and after rebate it's $29.87

I have the same thing...its a liteon non overclockable...but man...i got a lil hassle using my online printout @ my b&m...looks like i won't be able to do it again...*sigh*
