Anybody got a ND-1300 instead of the ND-1100 in the box? If so, what are the first four digits of the serial number?

Unfortunately, the $40 rebate only applies to the Cendyne DVD-RW. That's the only model listed.

The $30 rebate does include the DVD+RW model.

Seems to be pretty misleading ...

They already updated the web price to next week's price. :frown: I guess you could buy it and then call up and ask them to match the ad price of $219.99, but remember that the ad was not in all areas so they might say they can't match the price because it's not in your area. It's looking kind of YMMV now.


BTY: I just posted a deal for the HP 300i 4x DVD+R for next week, it's the same price ($249.99) but no rebate just a $70 GC.

this rebate looks like it's only for the DVD-RW.

Both mail-in rebates don't expire until Saturday (5-31).

All the Officemax multiple rebate form list "all" DVD burners as DVD-RW including the Verbatim and HP 300i drives which don't sale DVD-R drives. The rebate processing company uses the UPC codes to verify that it's the right item for the rebate.

Good news. Ordered Cendyne DVD+RW Drive with memory stick (K 256MB PC133) using 50$ coupon and using MSN wallet plus rebates. It will be cheap 99.99 AR and AC and IR (had to call them) but I should get 20% of 169.99. So it will be pretty cheap.

Breakdown:

219.99 (after price adjustment to reflect Instant Rebate)
50.00 (purchased more than 280$ so even after price adjustment I was able to keep 50$ coupon)
