I am a new member to the forum is this is my first posting.

I am very interested in purchasing the OfficeMax Cendyne DVD-R/RW Drive (Pioneer DVR-A05).

I?m new to this rebate stuff. How would I be able to obtain the OfficeMax $50 Off $150 Printable/In store Coupon that has been referenced to in this thread.

i got a coupon in my email but it clearly states.
Offer only available at OfficeMax.com and the 1-800 catalog/fax number. Offer is not valid in retail stores.

Just got mine ordered. Was able to purchase it with the $.94 after rebate cd-r's, using $60 in coupons. Total came to $200.88 + tax.

After $60 in rebates, will be $149.88 + the tax.

OfficeMax.com comes up $299 for the drive. The sale price isn't reflected. I was able to use the $40 off coupon and went through the motions of ordering. At checkout a pop-up appears which indicates that the drive will ship from Texas and that there will be a delay. Possibly the sale price isn't on the website because you wouldn't get the drive in time for the rebate anyway.

Ordered the 4x burner from Staples.com Went smooth. Final cost $149.84 + tax Not worth trying to hassle with the CSR's on the phone. The last time they aggravated me so much by intentionally wasting my time with a pricematch that it isn't worth it for a few bucks.

the only coupons I can get to work together on this deal online were a $50 of $200 and a $20 off $100, so mine worked out to $130 for the 4x drive at staples after rebate

aaah i see so it was a mail in from amex and it was stackable? that is by far best deal but too bad the coupon will not be available for multiple use probably? No? can you PM me the coupons bud? much appreciated!

i couldn't even find the $50 online Staples coupon so i used a $40 off $200 and $10 stackable once i added the .94c Khypermedia item ... and also i think your math is a bit off guys ... since you want to add sales tax to your total order (after coupons applied) and then subtract the rebates ... so your FINAL price seems does not reflect tax which you should include when posting FINAL price ... otherwise it's misleading and untrue!

hey duhh, the website there lists only the 104 version and not the 105 version ... could you post some more relative info about this media for 105 please? is it 4x and how good the writing is with this media according to your friends? thanks bud!

Cendyne 2x4x8x24 Internal DVD R/RW Drive for $299.99 and NO IR, so if that is the case could you edit the thread stating OM online deal is dead?! there might be IR in stores only ??!

actually, from what i was told, these are only writing at 1x or 2x on the A05.... which is a complaint that many folks have about the A05, but thats just cuse its new firmware... as a general rules, media that works at 2x on A04 is probably only gonna work at 1x on A05... kinda still a new product, so not the best now, but will get better
