Well, i called them 2 days ago again and they promised me i would have it in 30 days and they did not know what was going on.
I asked to speak to the manager there and asked him why they kept screwing up something so simple.
I said if I did not have my rebate within 30 days I would take them to small claims court just on principle alone. I would sue them for the $50, then the cell phone minutes used calling them, the cost of the photocopies, the cost of the faxes to them, the stamps and envelopes involved and for undue stress.
I got the managers name and told him I was recording the call, then had him verify back to me my name and address and the status of my rebate and that i would have it within 30 days. (most of it was just blowing smoke up his ass but i'm fed up.)
There is no excuse for their incompetence.
I think i originally sent them this crap in like late feb, early march.
I have however filed a complaint with the BBB and called staples and complained as well.
