Status says shipped this morning, and its coming by UPS. Originally they said it would arrive on Thursday, which Im assuming is still true. I may take a half day off of work so I can be there when UPS driver shows up. I've had a hard time getting UPS drivers to leave packages with the apartment office, and I don't want to wait until 3 failed attempts to deliver and then have to pick it up at a local UPS office. Thanks for the tip on this drive Mystic.

im only gonna says this once more...
if it comes up out of stock at the website (which it did for me, even though i knew, because I called, that several stores in my area had them), call the damn 1800 number and place your order that way. forget the website.
Didn't work for me. The CSR said that they are not showing any stock at any of their warehouses and that the system will not let her enter an order (even for backorder).
that sux! might just be too late to get them anywhere. wouldnt hurt to call the B&M though. You might not be able to use the 50 of 200 coupon, but you could use the printable 30 of 150 I think.

yipee, just got my drive in. It wasnt delivered by the staples guy though. I guess staples subcontracted some company called CDI to deliver it. Anyways, since I got the drive in, now I can post the deal I got. I didnt want to post it before so I wouldn't jinx it.
Subtotal: $239.94
Coupon Codes:
xxxxx: - $50.00
xxxxx: - $40.00
Tax: $12.00
Shipping: $0.00
Total: $161.94
I had ordered on the Saturday after they posted the deal on the website without the lowered prices and the rebate. I called up and had them manually adjust the price to $239.94 and applied the $40 off coupon. I called up a little later, asked where I could locate the rebate. The lady put me on hold for a few minutes and came back saying she couldnt find it and that she would credit my account $50 (by adding another coupon).
Best part of all, according to some people who mentioned above, the rebate will be valid if purchased the Saturday beforehand. Even if not, my invoice which came in the box only shows the ship date, which was yesterday.
Which receipt is everyone mailing in to claim these rebates? The invoice in the box or the printout from the website? Thanks!

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a TV in/out card, rip the dvd's to your hard drive and then play them on your tv? Since dvd's are gonna be obsolete in 2-3 years why keep putting more $$$ into the technology?

because some of us have a different use in mind.
not to mention that the macrovision would be harder to circumvent that way..or at least as far as i know.
