if you want I'll kill this if you wish to update your original post..yes instore as well via online order choosing instore pickup..my local CC is filled with know-nothings on this promo..but has 6 instore..they said do online order..bring email confirmation..think they are wrong tho3 more days..maybe something besides that $29 DVD player might catch my interest enough to roll out on it..

Dan, i c hecked manufacturer's site, it only comes in red or black. pink is just bad lighting in the CC image...

red aint too bad, i think i might prefer black though

Oh well I procrastinated and didn't get one. I have too many toys anyway.

But a 29" x 12" RC car sounds fun... too bad it's an Avalanche and not a Suburban or Yukon or something.

I remember over on Hardforum someone took one of these and integrated a fully functioning computer into it. Video, speakers, everything. Toneau (sp?) cover over the bed flipped up to reveal a 5" LCD or something like that. Trailer hitch hid some USB ports or something similar. Craziest thing of all is that it was still completely drivable :Q

Well, I used these speakers for about 8 months as my surrounds. I was never really happy with them: very weak treble and virtually no bass at all. I mean, they're small, sure, but I have heard 4 to 5 in. drivers that can give a little bass. There is nothing on the bottom end. And what sound there is lacks clarity.

To make a long story short, when my girlfriend and I moved in together she had a small stereo with a pair of bookshelf Advents. We were going to just give her little system away, since I had the surround system, but before we did I did a side-by-side listening test of the Advents vs. the Bose. It was no contest AT ALL! With a 5 in. woofer and separate tweeter, the Advents smacked the Bose around like a school yard bully looking for lunch money. The Bose were begging for mercy. And the Advents were CHEAPER!

Needless to say, we kept the Advents and gave away the Bose.

And the reviews keep pouring in.

I already have these speakers, got them a year ago at Fry's for $49 for the pair. They're pretty good speakers, the normal price is $89-99 for the pair at Fry's so this isn't very hot to me.

what are you talking about? BOSE are teh best speekers! Look at all those commercials they have. Any company that has that many commercials HAS to be good, Right?
