hey, you probably wont check this as a solution, but yes I used to have trouble installing this crappy wireless lan card. anyways, I suggest you goto the DLINK website and DL the newest drivers for the 520 (obviously you will need to be HARDWIRED to DL). unzip that file to your desktop and then install the drivers manually by selecting the drivers within the winXP folder *important*. Choose "continue installation anyway" whenever it pops up... and it should work. have fun troubleshooting I've had to reinstall my drivers on countless occassions now. anyways, just shows you cant expect too much from a $9.99 card.

hey, i notice they also have a pretty nice d-link bundle deal this week - wireless "g" router, pci card, and extended omnidirectional attena for ~$55 after rebates. i've been wanting to start moving to wireless for some time, what do you think? i don't really need it yet, should i keep waiting in case another new format comes out or at this price should i jump on it? if i get it i'll probably get a d-link wireless print server too, i've heard mixed things about those, can anybody comment?
