I just tried a PM at CC. They said they could only give it to me for $75 since they weren't sure a compusa was within the 50 miles radius

. Sucks I don't live closer to San Jose. I might try at a different CC tomorrow.

I printed out the AD and took it to a local Circuit City.
I found the case on the shelf and took it to the most clueless looking sales rep that was nearby and asked:

Me: "Do you pricematch CompUSA?"
Rep: "As long as the ad is current and its the same product."

Me: I pulled out the ad and asked kinda innocent like "This is the same model, right?"
Rep: He looks it over and says "Sure does, just show the person at the counter the ad."

Me: I take everything up to the cashier and said "Rep (name here) said to show you this ad to pricematch?"
Cashier: She takes a look at the ad and says "Ok"

Cashier: She starts the sale, then a manager walks by and she hands him the ad and says "This is ok, right?"
Me: Internal voice goes "ah, crap!"
Manager: Looks at ad and says "Yep."

I walk away from the store a new owner of a Lanboy for $45.00+tax. Thanks for the ad link.

I was able to pricematch 2 at CC in Overland Park.. (119th & Metcalf)

$96 for 2 of them. The checkout guy said "You guys just got the deal of the century, have a nice day"

I got mine at CC in Dallas too. At first she wouldn't price match, saying they needed a real ad. After asking for her to talk to the manager he said that she could call Compusa. Apparently she didn't ask the price of it, but only if they had it in stock, because finally she gave it to me! This is CC at Tollway and Alpha.

Got it at CC. At first she gave me hard time with no date excuses. I point to her the small date in the printout valid till August 3, she counter with No closer Compusa around here ( actually there is Compusa about 7 miles away, I guess she never date guys outside her small town ). I counter go talk with your manager and he said just PM it. Yay !

Use my $50 GC. and this Lanboy should replace the aging Antec SX830. Now time to find TT SLK-800 to cool my AMD 2500+ and decent graphic card and my complete overhaul would be complete.

Went the new CC in Chesterfield Valley, after about 25mins of them searching the web & trying to call cusa they wouldn't do it off of a scan. They were nice about it but still no deal for me. :disgust::evil:

no deal for me.. I left my wallet in my wifes car and she went out of town!
