I searched for this before posting. So, please forgive me if this is a repost. While not the hottest deal in the world, this is a pretty good buy and can be made into a nice machine with a few upgrades. Also, it comes with Lindows, but I am sure that it is easy enough to pop on a copy of Mandrake, XP, 2K, or something else...

For how much? I know they had a similar config for only $99 at Fry's on Friday.

It is the same configuration. The SKU numbers are the same for Outpost and Fry's.

I paid 99.99 last Friday at the Fremont store. I didn't need it but I picked one up because somebody I know would have a need for a 100.00 computer. Turns out I had a taker that very Friday. I also gave a heads up to a friend who picked one up at the Campbell store. The Fremont store was out when I went back at lunch with a co-worker who wanted one.

If you're buying this system to put in an AGP card in it, you'll probably want to upgrade the power supply too. 250Watts probably won't cut it with the power sucking monster video cards out now.

Still not a bad price.
