Wow frys sold this for $99 last week? FRY's "COME TO TAX FREE DELAWARE!!"
Nope. MS shut down the Lindows site that tried to get people to apply for the MS vouchers through them. Lindows 4.5 OEM is only $9.99 at Fry's with the purchase of "qualifying" hardware.Originally posted by: rhacquer
I wonder if Lindows ('scuse me, Linspire (TM) is subsidizing this deal in any way.

Support for 200/266 MHz memory bus
Maximum installed memory is 2 x 1GB = 2.0GB

???? But they are screwing you on components, this is strictly very low end. If you build it yourself, it may cost a little more, but you can choose much better components, and end up with a machine 2-3 times as fast for a little more (especially if you use components from other fry's deals)
It'll handle most things just fine.Originally posted by: SKYBLUEWCC
How good is the CPU?
I'm thinking about buying this computer for my 10 yr old nephew.
