Thanks guys..
I purchased one of your cameras, and am very happy with it. I noticed that color saturation was not as deep as I would like though. I notice that Minolta ships their cameras with conversion software to improve images. It looks like the Vivitar 3725 is the same as the Minolta s304, is that true?
Your perception of the two cameras is correct. I think about the only differences are in the contrast control and I think one other item ( along with a little more chrome on the Minolta's controls). Contrast is a thing that can easily be done in most third party software programs so not too important in the camera itself. Photoshop has a great control over the resulting images that is completely adjustable and better than anything you could do with the camera itself..
