Uh, there are 3 seasons and 36 episodes. Firefly had 1 season and 14 episodes.

Uh, the point is that the series ended rather abruptly without any real sense of conclusion. Y'know, context matters--and here we're talking about how the shows ended their runs. So in this case, the comparison is very apt.
Oh, and very good price on a great show.

I didn't watch Firefly, but from what I understood its ending was far more abrupt than Deadwood's.
