The 2000FP does have a 3 year warranty... One of the reasons why I'm considering it... Sell my 1600SW (no warranty) for a 2000FP w/3yr.

"Word to your mutha" --Marky Mark....err...i mean Mr. Wallburgh...whatever he calls himself now......3yr warranty is awesome

I'm in*!*and here's why, I have a NEC 1850x sitting right her in front of me it has come with *Portriat Displays* LiquidView Software, this alows me to run my Manufacture's for best results Resolution @ 1280 by 1024 and not have to loose Icon or window Text size. It alows me to use 800 by 600 or what ever is disired! With that said here is the link LiquidView Down Load This Software is so SWEET , IF ANYONE IS CONSIDERING A HIGH RESOLUTION MONITOR than THIS IS A MUST!!!!! With out this option I would not consider a monitor that SHOULD be run so High....and Once you go there you will never GO back....

I hope this helps anyone considering this deal or just browsing for the next one that may come along.

Here is a nother linkLink

Her is understandingProduct Specs

For the folks that asked - it is a Benq Panel, and it is 25ms response time.

Also has hardware deinterlacing (also known as progressive scan) and pretty good scaling at non-native resolutions, though this is really a subjective judgement - if you get this, plan on using 16x12 and upping the font size if you have to. It is the nature of any LCD to lose some color and sharpness when it scales, even with a high quality pixelworks scalar like this one. (unlike those ridiculously overrated apple displays, this has dedicated hardware scaling - apple displays use the vid card to do it in software)

Well I don't think I'm going to buy a Dell 2000FP after all which is a huge relief for me and my super wafer thin wallet.

Just called Dell Home Customer Care at 1-800-624-9897 option 1 ext. 66696 spoke with a very friendly woman, gave her my order number for my 1900FP explained that it's now $60 cheaper at Dell SB she put me on hold for what seemed like forever (3 minutes) came back, said ok I will credit your cc for $60 here's the reference number. I thanked her profusely for making it such an easy and painless process.

Although I didn't get a super smoking deal and didn't buy the 2000FP I am happy with my 1900FP and think I will keep it.

Of course I still have another 7 hours until this deal dies at 11:00 PM CST.

Here's how my 1900FP ordered 11/11/2002 priced out:
$694.20 - 2% eBates - $60 price adjustment - free shipping - 0% Oregon sales tax = 620.32

Yes... the bleeding edge question that I'm sure many of us 1600SW owners are asking (got them for 550 back then).

FYI, sell the little O2 video output adapter w/colorlink seperately. That adapter alone that came with the 1600SW gets around 100 bucks on eBay.

This is how I persuaded myself into buying one. Otherwise I have no excuse why I need a second big screen LCD. The multilink box alone sells over $300 on e*Bay today.

Come on the deal could be over any minute now because Dell will soon find out that they can not supply the demands with next few month's production.

I had the 1900FP and currently the 2000FP. The 2000FP is definitely worth the difference in the price - a lot less ghosting, higher res, PIP, 4 inputs, more screen real estate, ...
