Seriously, in terms of pure quality, this monitor puts the others to shame. If you're on the fence about price, that's one thing, but if you're worried about performance, you shouldn't be. This thing rocks.

Now I just hope that I don't get one with dead pixels. I have extremely bad luck in this. I have ordered LCDs 4 times in the past, and every time I get one with at least 1 dead pixel. However, I have yet to have a problem in getting them changed to one that doesn't.

LOL No, 1 LCD is enough for me.

My 30 days is up tomorrow and the 1900FP is already down to $639'ish without coupon @ Dell SB. So I'm going to call tomorrow to see if I can get a credit for the $60 diff since I paid $694. If they won't give me back the difference and the 2000FP is still the same price I just might return the 1900FP and order the 2000FP.

Monty, do you know in detail what ALL the major differences between the 1900FP and 2000FP are? The 1900FP's 1280x1024 is PERFECT for my eyes. If I downscale the 2000FP to 1280x1024 will it look crappy?

Can someoen point out specifics for tax exempt status at Dell? I have not done anything but sign up at the SB area. I do have a legitimate company. I am looking now, but do not see specifics. Or, they just take my word on tax exempt?

tjmaxwell: If it hasn't shipped, just cancel the order and get in on this one. It is my experience with retailers that it is just better to not have anyone screw around with your order -- that is where mistakes happen. If the order is untouched (like if you made a new order now), it should go through at the correct price.

CyOp: can't help you there. I guess that if they have a question, they will call/email you and you can give your tax-exempt info then.

True but this is a 20" LCD which retails for $1400! You can get it for almost $700, that's roughly a 50% discount!!!

If you already have $750 budgeted for a monitor I'd BUY IT NOW! You can cancel tomorrow or even send it back within 30 days.
