I have a Radeon 9700 Pro & EVGA GF4 Ti4200 on 2 separate systems using the DVI port. When using the new cleartype page, choosing BGR, and any setting will display the reddish i's & l's on words. It's not a big deal to me since regular fonts look fine, and the image quality is first class to me eyes.

for one sec i thought it might be the dvi cable but since you have both dvi hooked up that can't be the source.
yeah it does look great with the normal font. if another deal comes up, i m gonna dual LCD monitor

I'm running a PNY GF4 Ti4400

The DVI worked fine when I ran dual analog monitors (used a DVI converter)

Having no luck getting it to work with the 2000FP

I also have the reddish i's & l's on words in the menu boxes. I have attempted - to no avail - to change the cleartype font on the microsoft page to see if that would get rid of it - nothing seems to work.

I got my replacment LCD , this one was assembled in Mexico instead of Made in Korea, both were made in Feb...
anyways this one is perfect with zero dead pixels however this new one has a brighter quality to it.
The old one I was setting to 65 Brightness and 90 Contrast, this one I have set at 50/90. The new one has this
crystal/shiny like quality to it that makes me want to turn down the brightness.
Now it is entirely possible that my mind is playing tricks on me , unfortunately I did not keep the old one for anthother
day like a dumb dumb, so I cannot look.

I need a second opinion....you guys with 2 or more 1800FPs (or have tried 2 or more) , have any of you noticed what I
am seeing?

I have a strong suspition that its all in my head because I have experienced this kind of thing while blind testing
speakers and other hi-fi audio equipment.

Yeah, the screen cover seems to be a bit shimmery. I've gotten used to it now, brightness back up to 100.

I dunno about the shimmer screen on both of mine, but I run the brightness @ 71 and contrast @ 100 now.

i changed the size of the fonts and also the font itself. still no luck.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the monitor though. Thinking that maybe it's a analog issue. I don't have a DVI card.
