1280x1024 optimal, 30ms, DVI and analog switchable in front button (comes with both cables), has an "unusual" BGR pixel ordering or something (lookup the big 1800FP thread here), and looks damn good.

I have a 2000FP and just bought an 1800FP for my father.

Notwithstanding the $300-400 difference in price, you do get higher resolution on the 2000FP, better controls IMO, more inputs IIRC, and better switching between them.

just ordered one from Dell. but there is a Mag 18" LCD $399.99AR (LT865b) at BB starting tomorrow, not sure if this Dell dude worth that extra $70. there's also a Envision 17" LCD $369.99AR (284791) at CUSA too. A tough decision to make.

i got in on this deal a while back for about 415. so far it's been great! no dead pixels and everything looks great. I'm not a gamer so i can't tell you how it acts with games, but dvd's have been fine on this baby.

I game with it and it's GREAT! Its specs ARE 25ms, not 30ms that people state, BUT for 25ms it's great. There is actually 25ms and 25ms, the difference between different models with the same response time is amazing. For example, 1900FP is much worse for gaming than 1800FP for some reason. Well, that's because 1800FP is made by LG Electronics and 1900FP by Samsung.

It does a pretty good job for an LCD, ghosting is very minimal compared to most LCDs.

I have this LCD.
I LOVE IT!

I watch tons of movies and play games, like Counterstrike(i'm cal-main), Asherons Call 2, Morrowind, hitman2, Splinter Cell;

i get NO GHOSTING at all! Even though this thing says 30ms, its actually 25ms, dell is just being generous in there specs.
there is some streaking, but it doesnt affect my playing at all.

I got this LCD for $379 a month ago, and its great for gaming, i'm using DVI input, although remember you have to game at the native resolution of 1280x1024, which for most MP gamers who game at 800x600, takes a little adjustment.
