I was just on the phone with them. They said it was a mistake. All I could get out of them was 469. I will be emailing up the chain. The guy claimed that no one else got that price, which is BS. I have been missing every dell deal by a whisker. The last three, all missed. Unbelievable. If someone has an extra that they would like to sell to me, please PM me. Thanks.

You can thank our very own maddogchen (a Golden Member, no less) for cancelling all your orders and killing the deal.
It was only on the AT Hot Deals before this loser posted it on Fatwallet. About 30 minutes after that, the deal was dead.

It'll be cancelled soon, I'm sure.
Go over to FW and read some of the posts by those leeches. Most don't even post, but one guy placed 6 orders for 5 systems each, and had 3 go into production.
That's why it's always a bad idea posting it there.

Actually, you can thank losers like you who order 5 to Ebay them and drive up volume. I ordered one. If that helped one other person get in, then I'm happy.
Hot Deals forums, whether they be AT or FW or any other site, are communities. If you personally discover a deal, then you have earned the right to abuse it as you see fit. If a complete stranger, in the same spirit of generosity as all those who post, notifies you, then I think you owe it to that person and the community to not abuse a deal which, had they not shared it with you, you'd never have known about in the first place. Or, at the very least, you could avoid looking like a freaking hypocrite.

Although I usually agree with jpeyton you are absolutely correct
You are correct. Posting a very hot deal on FW is the kiss of death. My guess is that since Dell caught the error quickly they will catch and cancel the orders on Monday. Unless of course they decide that this will boost their server sales and look good on their end of quarter financial statement which is this month and beat their sales competition with other vendors. You never know...What can't be argued is that this deal was killed because it was posted on FW. Dell CSRs take notice when they recieve thousands of server orders in a matter of 20 minutes.
