does Dell small business charge tax in all states?

Looks like if you have it saved in your cart, you can still do it
I have 2 units in cart, I moved it to buy it and it still has the price of 253.xx(after tax)

Anyone know how long this order acknowledgement email usually takes? I ordered mine, got to the thank you page, but haven't seen anything yet. And there's no new order listed on my customer account page.

Well. I placed my order at 10:30 am (est), and I got my Order Acknowledgement email at 12:30. I am still waiting (praying, hoping) to get the second email with the Order/Customer Number.

Ahhh - so close.......

I got both e-mails (acknowledgement at 11:50AM EST & order conf. # at 12:10PM EST) and everybody gets a tax EXCEPT Oregon & NH. I'm from NH, so I can verify that, and others have said Oregon doesn't get one also.

Thought I was alone on this one but it looks like Samgoody69 had the same experience as me. I had it in my cart and tried to process it around 12:30 est and it got clogged. Thought I was sol so i went to lunch and re-tried it just to receive the same tech error msg others received. I then opened a new browser, logged into SB and went to my cart and it was there ( as were 4 other identically config'd puters). So, I went ahead and ordered it. Havent received a confirm however. You folks may wanna see if it is still in your cart in a -new- browser (crtl+N). Good luck! :beer:

If I was a gambler, I would order all 5 and flip them out for a profit. Unfortunately, I am conservative and lazy and would just be happy with the computer, especially if it comes with a 9800 np video card. Anyone get a confirm about which exact card it is?

Edit: Well, it was worth a shot. If Dell doesn't honor its claim for merchandise purchased, that would be a first afaik. Even if the reneg tho, it really is sorta unfair to make money off their mistakes. Not that they couldn't afford it just...either way I would feel good about it.

Man, I wanna shoot myself in the face I just missed the deal by about 30 seconds... I saw this deal on techbargains and went to order, then decided I should go with the better HD and FX5200... Went back to redo it and the deal was dead Thought I had a nice little system for the wife too... Oh well, better luck next time!

A buddy called to work out something with his email address and he got to talking with the guys at Dell and they said all orders, acknowledged, confirmed, or not, will be canceled.

I don't know about you guys, but this gets into False Advertising kind of stuff...
