I got the BFG GTX285 OC2, but I just received an email from Dell saying it has been delayed to May 5th. It was in stock when I ordered it, but not anymore. Anyone else get delayed?

Yes, same here. . .but mine listed May 11th, so I called and cancelled that one, and then paid 20 bucks more to get the OC2 version that they said they did have, plus paid for expedited shipping since I needed it this week. SO now I'm looking at 308 bucks - which is starting not to feel like as good a deal, but OK, no biggie, with the 2nd day shipping it would arrive by Thursday at the latest, but mid day today it was updated to the first week of May!

I called and cancelled, and honestly think that dealing with Dell has already cost me more time and effort than the coupons were worth. Amazon will get me the card tomorrow with my prime account for 7 bucks. I guess I've gotten spoiled by warehouses that know how to operate.

For other items that aren't time sensitive it would have been great.

Wow you guys shoulda been more patient, their order delivery system isn't accurate at all until its fulfilled, so they often delay the date by a few weeks only to move it way up once the order is filled.

Anyways, my GTX 280 was originally scheduled for April 28th, was actually filled and shipped early Monday morning, and I had it delivered on Tuesday. It shipped out of Harrisonburg PA warehouse, which is only a few hours away. Very pleased for $230ish shipped.

chizow - Good to know. I remembered Dell's delivery dates to be a bit conservative. My order is still in, so hopefully it will ship soon. All my other stuff arrived 3 days after ordering from newegg (via standard shipping), so I'm just waiting for the GTX 285 now.

I got my GTX285 OC2 on Wednesday but it was a bad card BFG is RMAing it for me. Got artifacting and crashing after 5 minutes in demanding games (Crysis, WiC, CoH, etc). Even L4D acted up after about 15. The rep said probably bad RAM or cooling solution.
