I needed tires so I definitely jumped on this, but just a thought. These prices are noticeably below TireRack's. Yes TireRack has to be making some decent margin to keep things going, but it is not a big margin. If TireRack is leaps & bounds below "retail" store pricing, and DTD's sale price is below them - I just have a feeling this isn't a regular thing. If anything, this was a pretty significant sale to spark up the buzz about them (which has succeeded).

Yep i'm just gonna wait it out till next year and hope they have a similar sale.

Most people don't replace until their service station says "ok, you're at 2/32" ", really by that time your tires aren't helping at all in rain and snow conditions. I replace ours earlier than that. Got two sets of really nice tires for $670 with this deal.

Ziex ZE-512
but after calling them I changed to the Ziex ZE-912's it worked out to be the same price after I dropped the valve stems. However they had to charge my card and "special order" them, the same option I got with the original tires I ordered. However they guy said 2-4 weeks before i would be able to get either model.
Guess Ill just throw on my spare (full size) and ride around on that for a month.

Yesterday I got a second email, the same as others posted. 5 days after ordering, they're contacting me to tell me they haven't even processed my order yet. Not a good sign.

I emailed them this morning, asking how much longer the delay would be. My tires are pretty bald at this point, so I could use those tires!

I got one set shipped, the other set I got the "we are trying hard to fill your order email". The first set is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I got a tracking number for them, whether or not UPS actually delivers them on time is another subject
