Matt,
Don't be confused. I used to be in the import and manufacturing business. Bought stuff from all over the world and had it relabeled.
This is a common practice.
There are original manufacturers they have the factories. Large companies such as Dell, IBM have product made by them to spec and label it DELL or IBM.
For instance, IBM used to get their monitors made by Tatung in Taiwan, to their specs and they painted IBM on the case.
Then there are relabelers who just buy factory offered product, put it in their box and market it. At this point it looks like Cendyne is just taking the low bids and boxing them.

PS...interesting thing is when I tried to return my Benq for a Liteon the manager laughed and said yeah, we know all about that..people come in and ask for the Cendyne/Liteon. He had none left, had plenty of the Benq's. The other OM in my area had 5 units, no Liteons, just Aopens and Benqs. The check out girl was wise to why, too.
