Goodluck. You have to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery of the CDs, or you can just download the entire game. I was thinking about buying a voucher, but it's just a big hassle.

I heard it was only 4 player per map. I might have read it wrong but IMO that is lame.

Yep, multiplayer is only 4 players and you all need to use broadband. They said they expect a mod for 8 player games to be one of the first things out but you'll probably have to play over a LAN. I think the main problem is having a server powerful enough to run it all. There's an interview over on Gamespot which talks about it.

Well it might just be me but I know I'm not buying Doom 3 for the multiplayer. If HL2 is anything like its predecessor I'd say that's where the multi-play will be at and that's what I'm banking on. D3 is all about the single-player experience IMO.

This is a similar type of scam, except the pre-order 'no game' DOOM 3 boxes actually exist as such for $9.99. Look at the picture, Pre order only, no game included. The lesson here is don't assume anything and always use the 'ask seller a question' link....
