This particular monitor is on sale quite often at Staples. I missed it the last two times, but jumped this time. I was pleasently surprised by the picture quality and the three year warranty. Keep your eyes open, because this goes on sale every few weeks, usually with big rebates.

I just got my monitor; this is my first Staples rebate attempt.

Which number do they want from the barcode label as a UPC in the online rebate form? There are like 3 numbers on the label. Or would I be better off to peel off the label and mail it in.

upc number always has two smaller font size number in front and at the end of the number.
Remember you HAVE to cut out the whole upc label (i cut out the label and it contains all the 3 number) and send in with your rebate.
Better to do it at staplesrebate.com, better turn around time (no need for key in your info, less mistake there)
And i remember the box has 2 identical labels. so you have no problem of losing any number.

Staples/Envision sent me the $100 rebate from the pre-Xmas sale within 6 weeks. Can't go wrong at $60 for 17" with nice clear display.

Got mine a couple of days ago and it's looking good! I also have a Philips 107S and I'd say that this unit is every bit as sharp (and maybe a bit brighter) than the 107S. It's *much* sharper than the older HP 17 incher than we own. I noticed in a weekend circular that they'd add one of those HP units to a system for $299.

Staples is getting ridiculously fast on the rebates. Got mine after about three weeks. I highly recommend starting the paperwork online and sending the actual documents after this.
