I have the 770-e and it is teh suckage. At 1280x1040 is has a refresh rate of 60hz!!!!! 1024x768 is too small for me.

My monitor just arrived. I have 2 Samsung 950p's and this one matches up well. The whites are white and the blacks are also good. I'm running it at 1280 x 1040 at 85 Hertz. I can go up to 100. The text looks fine to me. It may not be the highest quality monitor but for $100 after taxes, rebate, and ebates I think it's a great deal.

I ordered mine and got an order number and everything, but just got a phone call from Staples that they could not fill the order so mine got canceled. The warehouse that it would ship from could not fill the order. It is almost like a bait and switch. I order the product because of an advertisement and my order gets accepted and then canceled. They probably will not be able to fill it for 6 days (of course after the rebate expires) but they can find me a substitute (not at that price of course).

It frustrated me... the fact that they have it in stock in the store 2 miles from where i live but they won't take the codes... and they take the codes online but they are out of stock... so I gave up with them.
I ended up ordering a 19" Sony (refurbished) for $180... it's flat and looks better

Update #1 There is now a $30 off $150 printable email coupon available (over on the largeWallet) for in-store purchases. I also heard that some Staples store are giving out $20 mail-in gift cards when your order total is over $150.

The in-store deal : Envision EN-910 19" CRT Monitor $189.94 - $60 Envision MIR - $30 off $150 Staples email coupon - $20 mail-in gift cards = $79.99
It possible that Staples might not let people use a coupon and give them the $20 mail-in gift cards too, so check before you buy (YMMV)

I bought one of these a while back when they were like $50 after rebates, etc and it is a fine monitor for the money. My son likes it very much and it seems the quality varies on each one made. I had one that was not sharp focused at all and exchanged it for one that is quite sharp.

Its not bogus, I got it sent in an e-mailer to me. There's no coupon code or anything, so I guess you're supposed to print it out. One of the restrictions though is it says price paid has to exceed $150, so they may or may not give it to you after you apply the $30 off $150.

They say its non-transferable, but I dunno how they can track it. It expires tomorrow, so if anyone wants it lemme know, it says I can forward it as an e-mail.
