Interesting, the first time I got the doa card mine was in a strong box, the 2nd time i recieved the vid card it was in a padded envelope lol..

For the other user that posted, what version of 3dmark are you running? I havent done any oc'ing i'll post pictures of other gpu id tools.

Well you're the first person to at least have consistent pipe and vertex readings across GPU-Z, Everest, and RivaTuner. Still conflicting reports of the core revision though, I still wanna find out exactly what all these cards are made of...

Had to return the first one I got becuase it was DOA. I finally got the replacement today. Looks different than all the other options I have seen for this card. It has a big zalman style fan that takes up an extra slot in the case and it has individual ram sinks also. Worked just fine this time around and is still pretty quiet. I have my case open and I cannot hear it over my cpu fan. I will do some tests later to see how much faster it is than my O.C. 7300gt but I did play the unreal 3 demo and it was noticibly smoother. Really happy with the card for the price. I would get it again.

ATI Tool reports:

- 560MHz core clock
- 650MHz memory clock
- 128MB of GDDR3 RAM
- 12 pixel pipes
- 5 vertex shaders

wow, thats only slightly less than a GT. a gt is 560/1400.

must be one of those 7600GS turbo fighting editions some companies sold.

I'm glad this is working out for some of you; it looked pretty bleak for a while.

That said, do only the 7600 GT's have 256MB of RAM?

Mellon - Was your video card made of a copper heatsink type material? Because like you mine did take 2 slots, but it was all COPPER lol. ALSO, you need to update your 7300gt to 7600GS!

woh, your stock clocks are way faster.

Also get some more numbers from riva / everest etc.. see what they say as well.

I had consistent numbers in terms of pipes / v.s / clock speed when I ran the other programs.
