Yes, I finally firgured my problem out... I simply sesized the image in Photoshop. Got the 5 bars, ordered it, and within 2 minutes received a confirmation email.

it's a killer deal for $6 but msn's regular price of $20 for 18"x24" blows! sony imagestation gives u a 20"x30" for same price...

Mine was just one bar (800x600) and it still went through. Is it not accepting the poster order for you guys if the res is too low?

I have a copy of the huge overhead WTC "Ground Zero" picture. It's sitting on my Linux partition right now, but I will put it up on http somewhere shortly.

Also, another place with some interesting hi-res images is ftp.jpl.nasa.gov. A lot of satellite photos and other interesting stuff.

I should say instead, go to www.jpl.nasa.gov and you will be able to preview their image library without downloading a 40 meg tiff image first

I had to scan a 35mm color neg at 400 dpi and 8x10 to get the 5 bars on the meter. Even as a jpg it was 2.98mb.....which on my rural dial-up takes some time.


Well cripes.......a scan needs to be targeted to 8x11 and 200 dpi,saved as a jpg with little or no compression or a tiff.

I'm having problems uploading the pics.
As mentioned by the other members, I resized the pic in Adobe.
Got the 4-5 bars.
When I upload, an error message popped up... "The handle is in the wrong state for the requested operation"
What is this?? How can I correct the pic to upload it??

Please advise.
