Only one award per event. US only won medals in 21 events, some events we won two medals (such as the Men's 1000m and 1500m Speed Skating). In that case, you can only win once for 5 two liters.

And my family is zilch for 9 today, darn.

Ahhh.... You're right. Don't know what I was thinking. Probably nothing! I've got 15 wins in 46 entries so I guess I am getting close to my max.

you can't get 12 bottles, only increments of 5

No. If USA wins any medal it's a coupon for 5 2-liters. I'm 0/9 these last 3 days. Oh well, I think I have won about 50 bottles of Coke. Thank you Coke, that's like $50!

Soda is cheap, you can make it yourself for a buck a gallon in materials. I wouldn't be surprised if two liters sold to the big grocery stores for 50 cents each. Plus this promo sends the metrics through the roof, the big chains will see a bit of a spike in sales.
