BTW - Thanks OP!
I'd say "Please show me where this coupon says anything about a maximum value." When they admit the coupon says no such thing, but it's "understood" that there is a limit I'd say "Let's call corporate."

My wife has had to get letters from Walmart and Kmart HQ to fend off cashiers and managers who attempt to enforce wrongful policies. She carries them in her purse and shows them to whomever to shut them up on the spot.

aftp -- now that you've paid the store $2 and the coupon, you just know the store will still claim the full amount when they send the coupon to Coca-Cola. So ACME will have effectively sold the Cokes at a 40 cent mark up over their regular price -- they'll make out like a bandit if they keep that up.

Yeah, I've gotten 3 coupons in the mail so far. Used one last night at Shoppers Food Warehouse. The computer didn't understand the coupon and it caused all kinds of problems. It didn't help Seagrams gingerale doesn't have the cocacola company branded anywhere on the label. He eventually just looked at the receipt and manually entered "grocery coupon" and the amount of each. Coke sure didn't make this easy to use. I feel bad holding up the line, but I'm not gonna pay $7 for something that should be free.

Received 2 more for a total of 8.

I've used 4 of them so far at Kash N Karry & Publix. All I had to pay was the tax.

KNK has Coke this week 5 for $5, so I paid $.35 for the 5.

Publix had them for $1.39, so I paid $.49 for all five.

Total paid so far is $1.54 for 20 - 2 liters.

Kash N Karry - just needs someone from the service desk to plug in the coupon amount with their code. Seems if a coupon is over a certain amount, they need this done.

Publix - just scanned the coupon, clerk put in the amount and that was all.

No, I'm not gonna drink all this by myself, we having a get together this weekend.

Anyone having luck with these coupons at Target? I'm hoping they will be more "tolerant" of these coupons than some of the other grocery stores I have tried.

(p.s. - I recommend the Minute Maid Light - it is very good.)

I've now received 15 envelopes containing 14 separate coupons... out of a possible 27 won. I've had no trouble using the coupons at these stores in the East Coast: CVS (informed me I would pay tax, and then manually added up the total) Waldbaums (simply scanned the coupon 5 times.)

However good luck finding any Coca-Cola on the shelf. I've also been handing these out to appreciative family and friends.

I've only cashed in on two occasions. The first I had to explain that the coupons wouldn't ring up right and needed an override. The second time the cashier knew all about them. Only had to pay tax both times And that was at a Harris Teeter and a Bi-Lo.

Thanks Coke and Sweeps!

of the many stores ive gone to use these coupons, thought id share my results:
cvs: smoothest transaction, worst selection
ukrops (richmond, va): good selection, smooth transaction, cashier didnt even charge me tax
kroger: best selection, but youd think they never saw a coupon before. had to get a manager over at both stores, and even then i realized later that they never gave back change (you have to pay tax).
food lion: ok selection, still had some trouble with coupon, but at least the cashier didnt look like i was trying to shoplift the cokes.
i was pretty tired after that run, got 80 2 liters in one day. think ill just get 5 at a time from now on

Do you have the go through the line with 5 at a time, or can you just fill a cart up and just hand them a stack of coupons?

Finally... I got one... about time lol

SkylinGTR26: Any store that does something like that doesn't deserve your business, just take it elsewhere from now on.

We went to a store today that has a 30 cent discount on Coke 2-liters to use a couple, and buy . The manager gave us grief saying "It says one per purchase" so we could only use one according to her. We went round a couple times explaining that all coupons say that, and when she finally looked at another coupon, she realized we were right. So she scanned both of them five times each, and we got the full price of the ten bottles off our order (not the discounted price).

So we got an extra three bucks for having to educate the manager.

That's some weirdo part of the country you live in. Something like 70% or 80% of grocery shoppers use coupons, and every chain I've been to has those UPC readers that also read most coupons (including these, but just for one bottle not five).

Now I'm sure there are readers in this forum who rarely or never use coupons. But a major chain grocery store that has a cashier and a manager that have no idea what a coupon is? Pretty hard to believe.

ouch. yes kroger definitely had issues for whatever reason. moral of the story: if all you want out of this is coke/diet coke (i.e. not fanta, nestea, minute maid, fresca, etc) cvs is the place to go for ease of use.

Received 80 2-litres worth of coupons so far. I have no idea how many more I have coming, but it should be at least 100 2 litres worth. That's a really scary thought when you think of how many pounds of corn syrup that works out to. This is also right when my gf and I are dieting and exercising more, so we're not really drinking soda right now. Haven't even tried to redeem one yet.

get diet coke with splenda. i was dubious at first, but that is the closest thing to tasting like real coke that i have ever had in a diet drink. you could also try fresca for another no calorie drink, although i think it tastes like bovine urine myself
