Anyone use this program and have any comments on it? The last I used was 2001 and I found the SpeedDisk slowed things down and I was too afraid to use it's registry utility for fear of screwing something up.

I only use it for the Antivirus, which I think is pretty good other than the fact that with one of the patches for the antivirus with NSW2002, it would keep Outlook from connecting to the SMTP server when sending mail using SSL when scanning outgoing messages, which sort of sucked. But the protection it gives you is better than McAfee for sure!

(Testimonial about McAfee: Even this past summer's most recent version, I could install BO2k on my computer, run it, configure it, close it, run it more, and McAfee wouldn't say squat. However, as soon as I began to uninstall it, McAfee then warned me that I have the BO2k virus on my computer. Just thought I'd share.... )

with XP, I find Diskeeper to be a much better product for defrag than Speedisk. With SystemWorks 2002, when I requested a full defrag my system would go into a chkdsk loop, reboot, run chkdsk, reboot, run chkdsk, reboot, run chkdsk until I forced safe mode and uninstalled SystemWorks. YMMV, but I don't trust that "feature".

I do use Cleansweep to track and uninstall apps, and, of course, NAV is great (for the year they give you free, that is).

My parents had a problem with the defragmenter since they had GoBack installed. Hosed the drive so they don't mix too well

I haven't gotten a confirmation email yet, and I am not holding my breath. Cool if I get it but not a big deal if don't. My system runs pretty well anyway and I use Norton AntiVirus Corporate 7.6 anyway because I think it is less intrusive.
