Best Buy probably won't PM this if the CSR finds out about the rebate. I've had the hardest time doing PMs at Best Buy.

You might want to try buying it first at BB's full price, and go back to the Customer Service desk later for PM. Yes, I do agree it's hard to PM at BB, they almost always check rebate offers.
But this is HOT if you can pull it off...

^ Could this work? If say I bought them tomorrow, then went back later that same day or next day with the receipt. Would the receipt only show the price before rebate? If so, they might not think about the rebate.

I PM the Western digital 120 gig one time.....and it was a hassle. He said I either get the rebate or the PM.
So what I did was I went to another Best buy store with my receipt and PM ad, and got the difference.

This is what I'm going to do tomorrow....If they don't PM on the spot, I'll just simply drive to another BB store, show them my receipt and ad. I won't mention about the rebate or anything.

BB's a pain in the butt to PM, so screw them.

I agree with everyone else here though BB is a pain to pm with. I think going early buying it @ their price then going with your receipt & the ad from OM to the customer service center could work/should work.

lol it wasn't my find, my friend told me this morning before I left and I was gonna post it then but he had to upload me the flyer for BB. He lives up north in the tristate area where apparently they get the sunday ads on saturday, and I told him to buy z340's cuz he had a low budget, and he said "hey should i gettem from office max for 25 bucks or best buy" or something and I was like hey, good opportunity to get almost free speakers!

I'm trying this deal tomorrow, hopefully it will == work.

I am NOT seeing any OfficeMax ad with my Sunday paper, is the sale only online??. Will anyone even PM an online ad? I may just go to OM directly and see whats up. I already bought the of Z-340s at OD(OM was OOS at my three area stores....duh!!)and was hopeing to pm with a OM ad in hand later when sale started.

It's a Sunday insert, should have been in your paper (it was in mine). I hate when they leave out some of the ads. :|

Went into the BB in Beavercreek,OH walked out with a set for $6.50.
Didnt get the 110%, Im just glad to get out with it for what I did.

I just did it at my locak Best Buy.

I went in and bought the speakers, then took them out to the car. Then I got the receipt and went back to the Customer Service desk and handed them the receipt and the OfficeMax paper. The clerk looked puzzled for a bit, then conferred with 3 different people behind the counter. She then tried to call OfficeMax to verify that they were in stock, but OM wasn't open yet. She conferred with yet ANOTHER manager who said to go ahead even though she didn't have in stock verification from OM.

So I originally paid $47.87 including tax, then they credited me back $23.41 including tax. So that comes to $24.46 - $20 MIR that printed out with the receipt = $4.46 including tax.

No 110% though.

In my town, the BB is right beside the Omax. Went to BB first and purchased, and got the rebate receipt with the orig. amount, then walked over the Omax, verified myself that 3 were on the shelf, then went back to BB with just the receipt and Omax ad. PMed no problem and didn't bother to verify stock (they usually do) since I told them I was just there. Great speakers for about $4 with tax AR.
