Then you had to show me this deal so now I have another game on the way. This one will sit with Guild wars, FEAR plat pack, Jade Empire, and two worlds until I finally finish my campaign on Med 2 total war.

GoGamer.com has never did me wrong, and I've bought games from them for a few years. I love the 48 hour madness sales, and just picked up the F.E.A.R.: Platinum Edition from them last week.

As for Bioshock, the only DRM trouble I've heard about was with some people who install the game on more than one PC - my understanding is that they upped the amount of installs that the end user can have...

Toomer you have a nice system there but that video card while it will play games is still a bottleneck IMHO. You could upgrade to 800GT 512 for $200 and a really sweet rig.

You are correct. I just ordered one of those 9600GT 512's from Amazon this week for $110AR. While the 9600 still looks to lag behind the 8800 it was a touch cheaper and appears to be a pretty decent card.

I also just bought a Gigayte SLI MOBO for NewEgg I'm taking the (2) 8600GTS's and hooking them together. Be interesting to see which is faster the 9600 or the 8600's together.

Currently running on 8600GTS 256Mb with adequate results. Looks fantastic even on this card. 9600GT 512 on the way from Amazon, can't wait to see the difference.

Installed and started it up today and 3 hours later realized I'd been sitting there, for well, 3 hours. This is gonna be one great title.

GoGamer did OK by me this time.

What other titles are must haves? (I?m new to gaming in general)

I also ordered The Orange Box from Amazon, which came today.

It all depends on what you like. I am trying to find another game like Bioshock. I play alot of WW2 shooters like BF42. Return to Castle Wolfenstein was a great game but it is an older one. I have yet to find a RPG I like.

Play through portal for now, it's great but also very short, can finish it in an afternoon easily.

You're lucky my copy of bioshock shipped this morning... prompt their dirt cheap shipping isn't.
