Was interested in playing these games again (I swear I should buy stock in Valve)

Damn good deal if you haven't played the game yet.

The digital downloads concerned me when I first bought HL2 and bought a physical in store, but everytime I re-install it's just been easier to download... you end up waiting as long for updates as you do to download the game as a whole anyway... and for some reason using the discs to install error'ed out on me thrice before it worked correctly. So whatever.

You can still back it up to disc... provided you want to waste the time and disks on it.

It's not included in this online bundle...you have to purchase it either separately or in a more expensive bundle.

Which is why I didn't buy this bundle. It was tempting but CS is the real reason I wanted HL2 anyway.

Nice threadcrap, but you might wanna get your facts straight. A Valve partner company was hacked, not Steam itself, so there's no cause for alarm if you're considering this deal.

Yes, but you can't have 2 instances of the same Steam account running at once. So if you have it on two machines then you can only play it on one at a time.

I checked steam last night,

Episode 1 was $9.99 with 2 other smaller games (I think it was HL2: DM and something else)

The HL1 Anthology Comes with all the 1st gen games WITHOUT 1.6 (I didn't even open it)

Condition Zero comes with 1.6 and CZ + CZ: Deleted Scenes
