I picked up a Powercolor 7850 2GB last week for $120 after MIR. Gotta admit that I really hate the fact that I can't control the fan speed, but it doesn't overheat and it runs great.

According to one of the reviews, this 7870 gets 430kH/s which, if true, I must admit is pretty impressive for a 7870.

Reviews seem to be all over the place. Some say it runs cool, others say it runs at 95C. Doesn't make sense.

Just so you're aware, AMD is releasing these cards under 280 and 275 monickers shortly. Pricing will be better and perhaps they will clock better. Personally I'd pass and just wait.

Well, considering the current outrageous prices on 270s and especially 280s... I don't think there will be much improvement until spring.

Maybe the prices will start to fall.
Never did figure out what they were doing with all that stuff anyway.
