pcmag.com doesn't have any microtek LCDs reviewed, can you give us a link or is it print only?

Did you not read the HUGE stickers that were on the monitor, or the manual?!?!? It says to display the monitor at 60mhz for a reasonLCDs are not like CRT monitors - You will experience no eye strain with the refresh rate at 60mhz, anything higher than that will cause the quality to degrade.

What read the manual ??? You must be joking!!! The 1800FP is set to 1280x1024 @ 60hz, but I found that it would actually go to 75hz. Naturally I enabled this. It did seem to make fonts on the screen look slightly better. I don't know if this was just me or if it actually does that but I think it improved image clarity. During my use I noticed absolutely no flicker. I did notice though that the pixels are semi-large. The reason for this I think is because I'm used to my laptop LCD which is 1600x1200 @ 15.1". The pixels are so incredibly small on it that you need a magnifying glass to see them. Not like I had to agree... But... I didn't even know it could go up to 75hz, untill I started looking around in the os setup. Yeah, whatever... if you like 60Hz, then well. good for you...Originally posted by: rbloedowDid you not read the HUGE stickers that were on the monitor, or the manual?!?!? From which Dell org did you order it in the first place?Originally posted by: grant2
For some reason, Dell shipped me 2 of them.. with 2 seperate CC charges:
DELL MARKETING-COMPANY 12877-773-3355 TX 412.95 USD
DELL CATALOG SALES, L.P. 800-624-9897 TX 381.65 USD
I guess I'll call the "marketing-company" and see if they'll price match "catalog sales"
