Has anyone else gotten stranded like me? I sent in my camera UPC to RebatesHQ, and now they're sending me a post card saying that:

"We apologize for the misunderstanding, but your rebate is invalid because the product was not purchased within the dates specified by this promotion A postcard acknowledging your invalid reason will be mailed to you"

I know I had purchased this item as soon as the rebate was brought to my attention...

Does anyone have any screen shots of the Rebates HQ webpage w/ the original rebate from them?
Or, is there any recomendation for how to get a UPC back from them, so i can resubmit it w/ the other mailin rebate?

There is a rebate been posted, roll back and check the messages again. The link is there and not too far away from your post. Sorry didn't copy the links first before I post, but should be easy find.

For those that sent in their rebate for the Logitech one, you might want to check up on the validity on the rebate. Checked RebatesHQ's site today and said it was invalid for some reason.

Yeah, at the Wallet board people posted messages saying their rebates were valid right after I posted my invalid message. However, their rebates were all processed before mine so...

anyone got email from amazon saying items delay shipping? Both of my camera and router got delayed for 2 weeks.

hehe... r u sure u got on the deal on time? looks like u may not be eligible for the rebate, *if* and *when* you get it call up amazon and let them know they screwed u over on the rebate!


oh i got the *invalid* rebate status too. anyone going to call in about it? or will they fix it for you????

I ordered the router on aug.30, and just got the router since they delayed my shippment. My question is, does the rebate expired on this situation?

I got shafted on the rebate too.
Is there a phone number you can call at rebateshq?
I coulda sworn I sent the rebate in on time. I have a copies of the recept and upc, but I don't have copy of the webpage with the dates. Anyone save it?

Good news....just called and spoke to a CSR at RebatesHQ. I explained to them the situation and they fixed it without a hitch.

Well, it looks like rebateshq is rejecting all the Clicksmart 310 rebates as being invalid. I got this post card yesterday:

"Dear Customer, Thank you for participating in this promotion. Unfortunately we could not honor your request due to the following reason(s):
The product was not purchased within the required dates for this rebate."

I called them to ask why it's invalid since the rebate clearly states its good until 12/31/02, and he said I had to send them a copy of the rebate form. Huh? I asked him why I should have to do that if I already sent the thing in with my original submission, and he said it's the only way to verify I'm telling the truth. But... AHRRRRR:|:|:|

This is why I HATE REBATES. I keep telling myself never again...

BTW, if anyone else needs to call that number above, don't push any numbers when asked by the automated answering service, you have to wait for a human... more smoke-and-mirrors!

Looks like YMMV since some people (here and at FW) are getting the issue immediately resolved, and some (like me) have to mail them proof of the rebate with the December 31 exp. date. :|?

For those of your having problems with the logitech rebate and getting postcards in the mail about "the product not being purchased within the required dates for this rebate", call up the number and tell them you have a copy of the print out from rebatehq.com that says the purchase has to be between april and dec.

The rep I talked to said the rebate was supposed to be between april and july, ending in july. That is why they are sending the cards out, so since they made the mistake of posting the rebate as ending in Dec, they should most likley let you have it. I didn't have to even ask the guy, he just said he would do it as a one time override to fill the rebate. I think the number was posted before but here it is again anyway:

I got the post card too. I just called told them they were wrong and that I had my copy of the form infront of me and it said 12/31/2002. Gave them the offer number. They apologized and said they would fix it but it hasn't changed on the web site yet.
