Question about the instant messaging with this Sprint deal. The offer says AOL, MSN, and Yahoo instant messaging is unlimited. In the A920, you perform instant messaging and web messaging. The instant messaging is provided by Java apps. There are three options: AOL, MSN, and Yahoo. The web messaging is a crude interface to web version of instant messaging where you have to fetch messages sent to you. If you exit your internet connection, it automatically signs you out.
Is the unlimited messaging offer with this plan mean the more sophisticated and really instant messaging of the Java applications or the crappy web interfaces? I was under the impression it would be the java applications. Allowing accessing to a web application is not really "unlimited AOL, MSN, and Yahoo messaging" because that could be any other service too. It doesn't seem a coincidence the offer is for unlimited AOL, MSN, and Yhhoo and that happens to be three Java app services offered.
My local Sprint store is telling the web messaging is what is meant by unlimited e-mail. Any get the Java apps for free and added to the plan? If so, what is the name of the customer representative you talked to so I can get my plan fixed?
TIA!
