in case anyone is still keeping up with this thread or still considering buying into this plan, i called customer service today to have the picture/video mail that was supposed to be on my plan added. i went through 4 csr's. the first was just the standard rep that fielded the simpler concerns and questions, but he wasn't able to handle the situation so he put me on with someone from tech. apparently over in tech there is a multi-tier system of technies and only when you reach the advanced level are you able to address this problem. i had to go through tier 1 and tier 2 technical assistants to get some action. one thing that did boggle me--when i told him that i had unlimited instant messaging with my plan, he told me that the terms of that feature were worded poorly or something like that. he said because they were a 3rd party he couldn't give that to me for free. it really didn't make sense, but i just let it go. i mean, with unlimited web and data access/picture mail and all the other goodies that are included in this plan, what's one small sacrifice.
the mini opera web browser is awesome!! so much better than ugly wap that comes with the phone. i'm going to see what orb is all about tommorow, and i was wondering if anyone could fill me in on any other little downloadable enhancements that could make this treasure of a plan glitter even more.
