Forgive my ignorance... Does SERO $99 offer more than Sprint Unlimited $99?

Appear to be the same. Sero is nice in the $30-50 as that is a price no body else can hit with messaging and data.

I noticed the Curve isn't available on the sprint site anymore. I wonder if they're out of stock...

Not turn by turn. thats $10 more. though you can use your gps with google maps, etc if you download that. Curve is OOS from what I heard. should be coming back.

They are the same AFAIK. Only the cheaper plans are better deals. Also I think the rebates are worse on the sero plan on some phone (plus you have to order from sprint) so if you want the $99 plan might as well get it from a 3rd party where you get a deal on the phone.

No official press releases yet, but far more pretty reliable sources than not are saying its done. We'll see.

FWIW word on howard forum is that the sero signup is expiring on 7/10 So if you want the current plan, sign up now. new one is supposedly $59.99 as a minimum. All its adds is navigation included.

that would suck, my friend has until november to finish his contract, and he was hoping to get onto Sero then. We both work for a large bank that gets 27% corp discount, so bill is less than $24 a month with taxes

Well he's probably eligible for an upgrade, right? Sign up for SERO now and buy a new phone with a 2 year extension on ATT (like the new iphone) Sell on ebay, etc to recoup the ETF cost. I did that with a blackberry 8310. $79 extending my contract, sold for $275. $21 profit including the ETF. SERO is a good enough deal if you want data that its worth paying the ETF straight up. I switched recently, and even counting the etf and no old handset sales sero was about $600 cheaper than staying with ATT over the 2 year contract.

I just signed up today using the info I put in last night. The site has now changed and asks for a 3 number employee code. I got around that by going through my internet history. Lets see if its accepted as my bank card has already been charged the amount.

sero is officially dead..but ive seen people go through google cache (or a bookmark as dobbs did above) to go into the old sero site or the sprint nextel one. hurry while you still can!

good luck everyone! lucky those of us still on the $30 or $50 plan will be grandfathered on it forever (aka until we get fed up with sprint).

Yep, the old $30 and $50 plans are now poof. Say hello to $60 and $80 "referral" plans. A good $30 increase!

Hot deal is officially gone, since you can get the same plan via ATT at that price or Verizon.

Oh well. July 10'th was the last day it seems. Who knows if they will bring it back or not.
